Wanna know what my type is? Then read

I know that men like to kid themselves that all women want is money, but then I mean, who doesn’t want money. Women also have things that attract them to men, and now, I’ll tell you mine.

When it comes to attraction; for me, it begins with(in order of priority);

So because I like to be properly understood, I’ll break these down for you;

FRAGRANCE

How a person smells for me, is not necessarily about the price of the perfume, nor deodorant being used. It is more about whether the smell is something that pleases my olfactory senses, than anything else. I like men that smell like soap(like they just took a bath), a clean fresh smell, and then it could be other things, but never something too overpowering. And of course, the mouth has to be giving “I dey use better toothpaste” with freshness, and neat breath which unfortunately, isn’t our strongest , because I expect the same effort I put into cleaning my own mouth. And of course because that’s what I’ll be kissing.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Physical appearance encompasses a lot. I’ll start from height; at least 3inches taller, and at most 6ft3. I favour men between 6ft to 6ft2; I think it’s the perfect height for me. I’m 5ft (155cm) in case you’re wondering.

Next is the facial structure. I like men with long, oval faces, rather than those with square ones; just the narrower chin appeals to me, for whatever reason.

As for beards, I am not really into that, per se. I don’t really have anything against them, but I don’t have anything FOR them, either. I find that I’m just not used to it; i.e beards. I fel the same way about body hair, especially on the chest.

Then I’ll go to the lips. When it comes to lips, it’s the size and texture, rather than the colour that interests me. I like men with smaller lips that are not chapped. Maybe because I have big lips, so I just gravitate towards the opposite.

Then the teeth. I don’t want to see plaque or caries on the teeth, because that is what dentists are for. That’s just not it; I mean, clean looking teeth are still a thing in the world. And I don’t keep mine clean for a non-keepers of clean teeth, thank you.

The next thing I look at are fingernails, and toenails (if visible), plus the hands and feet that carry them. I don’t like long natural nails, for whatever reason. It’s just not it. And of course, dirty nails are an absolute eeeewwww. I mean, wash your hands for chrissakes. Didn’t COVID-19 teach you how important that is? And I like white, or pink healthy-looking nailsthat are well manicured, or cut short in a proper, not haphazard manner.

And then physique. I like men with toned bodies. I don’t care much for excessive muscles, or excessive fat; just be in the middle. I don’t want Johnny Bravo, nor do I want a Sumo Wrestler.

Also the bum. I like men with small, taut bums. That is just pretty to watch, and very satisfying to grab(if it gets to that point).

And lastly, no bleaching. There’s something weird about people who bleach, especially with cheap products, because they just look unreal, in a very negative way. The fact that parts of your body are 3 or 4 shades darker than other parts, is just scary asf. I mean, whhhhyyyyy????

ETIQUETTE

This is quite simple; just be polite. Some people are overly familiar towards a person they are not familiar with; it bites.

Then there’s also the issue of using proper words like “Please”, “May I”, or “Would you like to…” and other such things in communication.

This is basically speaking respectfully. Some people are disrespectful both in speech and action, and reek of utter condescension. I wasn’t born to deal with that; some women are, find them.

DICTION

This for me would include both proper articulation and the texture of his voice. I like it when it sounds like butter, or smooth satin. There is a certain timbre that I favour; I don’t know why, I just do.

As for articulation, I put great care into speaking fluently; intentional learning and relearning, so it is only natural that I demand nothing less.

CARRIAGE

This is the way in which you hold your body while standing, or moving around. I don’t like fidgety men; it does not portray confidence. There’s a certain way that I like a man to walk, sit or even eat. It boils down to proper posture at the end of the day.

In fact, I derive great visual pleasure simply from watching some men walk. It’s beautiful to see. There’s something really “cool cat” about a man who chews properly. It’s just very chic.

Except you have a medical issue that prevents you from keeping still, I really don’t see why you should be incapable of being still.

CLASS

Class for me is not money, but more like where you’re at in life. It is more about who you are, and less about who your parents are.

What are the things you find funny, i.e humour? What do you get offended about? How intense is your “money worship”? What do you think about gender equality? How deeply do you analyse things you see? How do you speak? What do you speak of? How do you interact with the physical and social environment around you?

That’s how I group people, in terms of class.

LEVEL OF SOCIAL EXPOSURE

This determines a lot of things; from how you regard women, especially sex workers, to how you regard homosexuality, to what you think of politics, and why. I like a man who can engage in intelligent conversation. I can’t deal with socially incompetent men; it bites.

So yeah, I have come to the end of my list. I would like to clarify, just in case anyone tries to misunderstand me; ALL OF THIS IS WHAT I WANT, NOT ONE. And yes, several times, I have met my type; in fact, more often than one would think possible, because of the bad press that men get on the “innanet”.
