eZAR Token added to CoolX wallet

We are excited to announce the addition of the eZAR token to the CoolX Wallet. The eZAR Token is the first South African Rand based stable token and runs on the Telos Blockchain. It allows users almost instantaneous peer-to-peer transfers, all with the security of blockchain and without the need to involve an intermediary. Transactions using eZAR are free.

Telos runs on the most powerful blockchain software in the world (EOSIO), offering users 1000’s of transactions per second at no cost on a public blockchain. Other benefits include human readable account names and the ability to recover lost or stolen account keys if the account is configured correctly.

We see stable coins like eZAR as foundational in building a blockchain economy. The price volatility of other cryptocurrencies is too high for most users and businesses to adopt their use. The combination of stable coins and user friendly wallet applications will go a long way to facilitating the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies.
