I failed my exams and I learned to be grateful!

Failures are not easy for people who have been thinking, planning, and preparing for months or even years. It leads some people to give up on their lives and destroy their future. It changes the vision of self-image and breaks the confidence level. For many people, experiencing failures feel like hitting the rock bottom and entering the gloomy season.

Just like most people, I experienced those situations for several topics (career, business, relationship, etc). It was not only a hard time (for sure) but it also shaped me a lot to become the better version of me. One of the phrases that I learned at that time was GRATEFUL. It was not an easy thing to do especially during that hard time.

These are what I learned about GRATEFULNESS during that stressful time:
1. GRATEFUL happens when we can see the good things about life regardless of the situation. For instance, I try to be grateful for getting difficult people as my clients because they make me learn how to build a detailed plan.
2. Good things can be seen if we have a belief system that able to produce it, for instance, a job is a blessing, rejection is direction, I am a blessed and a good person, failure is not the end of life, God brings goodness for us, etc.

So for me, I learned that being GRATEFUL is the ability to see good things and to be thankful regardless of the situation. In order to increase that kind of ability, leave the destructive beliefs is required and learn the constructive belief is a must.
